Dedicated Computing receives double awards from Northrop Grumman Corporation

WAUKESHA, WI: Dedicated Computing LLC is pleased to announce receiving two supplier awards Northrop Grumman Corporation for work on computer systems for a radar processing project.

On November 12, Dedicated Computing received a "Supplier Excellence Award" from the Information Systems (NGCIS) division. That was a sector award recognizing those exceptional suppliers whose performance and commitment helps NGCIS support their warfighter customers.

Then, on December 4, the firm was again honored as a "World Class Supplier." This corporate level award recognized combined engineering support and supply chain management efforts that set Dedicated Computing apart from Northrop Grumman's 10,000+ other suppliers.

The computer system addressed overlapping demands of high data throuput plus advanced graphical processing. The dynamic development roadmap was marked by tough physical requirements plus demands for specific program documentation.

In an official statement, Northrop Grumman acknowledged the aggressive timeline of the program, and commended Dedicated Computing for managing complex and changing configuration details from project inception to delivery.

"It is doubtful that another supplier could exceed their schedule or performance," the statement noted, "while providing the same level of quality."

In accepting the award, Dedicated Computing Executive Vice President Ed Allen reinforced the need for 'Market Velocity.' "Now, more than ever, there is a need to get new products to market ahead of the competition. We are happy that our work and our computer systems were of help to Northrop Grumman."
