Power
Dedicated Computing characterizes, designs, and validates power systems for compute engines as well as high-level assemblies. Capabilities include:
- Characterization of power supplies so actual performance is used to size supply instead of “rated” output.
- Characterize actual power draw of a compute engine to determine the most appropriately sized power supply.
- Design, specify, and validate appropriate battery backup systems for High-Level Assemblies (HLAs).
- Design and validate power cycling capabilities for clusters and rackmount systems.
- Simulate application use cycle to determine total power consumed and predict battery life.
