Packaging

A wide range of packaging design and validation capabilities exist within DC and with our local packaging vendors.

Packaging is designed specifically for the exact product and shipping requirements of the program, including domestic, international and “complete rack” level shipping.

Drop-testing is performed to industry and government standards. We can also characterize the shock and vibration a system is exposed to during a typical shipping cycle and recreate it on our in-house shock and vibration system. This enables us to not only ensure adequate packaging protection from rough transport or mishandling, but also ensures that the compute engine is designed internally to keep cards and peripherals in place during the shipping process.
