Software installation & management

The vast majority of systems manufactured by Dedicated Computing include the installation of operating system and application software. DC manages software revisions and versioning based on model variation. We can also manage MAC addresses, license codes, acquisition of OS licenses, and other “per-system” software variations.

Installation to customer specification

DC can design and build the system software image based on specifications provided by the customer. BIOS settings, operating system version and settings, and applications can be validated as a production system software image. We can maintain those images based on direction from the customer, such as in the form of service-pack updates.

Customer-supplied image/application installation

DC can image systems based on customer supplied images, or images created by customer-supplied tools.
