Single Board Computer (PICMG 1.X)

Dedicated Computing develops products based on Single Board Computer (SBC) architectures as defined by the PICMIG 1.X series of industry standard specifications. Utilizing a passive backplane, this architecture enables system designs which separate the processor functionality from the peripheral slot count and interface type.

SBC architectures are also often used to house two or more separate compute engines within a single chassis. This allows us to create unique designs tuned for a specific customer application.

The SBC line of products offers the longest product life (3-7 years) as it leverages embedded class components offering extended availability.
