Engagement processes

Dedicated Computing uses business processes which draw on the combined “corporate knowledge” of the organization, enabling all employees to benefit from this knowledge and provide consistent quality for our customers. These processes are regularly updated and streamlined to maximize both speed and quality of execution.

We take particular care in the initial engagement with a new customer or group within an existing customer to ensure that all expectations are captured, clear lines of communication are established and that initial shipment represents the best of both organizations.

CPI – Customer Program Introduction

The Customer Program Introduction enables the accurate and timely enumeration of all customer requirements and ensures that the output from Dedicated Computing meets all customer requirements.

NPI – New Product Introduction

The New Product Introduction process guides the development, validation and productization of standard or custom platforms. View a sample NPI

Following the program/product launch, mature and disciplined processes manage the ongoing execution and evolution of the program:

ECO – Engineering Change Order/Notice

The Engineering Change Order/Notice process manages changes to products or programs during its operational phase, providing advance notice of changes and clear documentation.

EOL – End of Life

Significant notice is provided prior to the end of life of active components, giving both organizations time to evaluate the best course of action -- including an end of life purchase, or validation of the replacement product.

OMS – Operational Method Sheets

The Operational Method Sheet process documents and communicates manufacturing processes to the cells, ensuring that products are produced consistently and correctly. View a sample OMS

FMEA - (Failure Mode Effects Analysis)

The FMEA process is utilized to identify product quality issues early, understand the potential impact to the installed base and quickly isolate root cause and remediate.
